Transforming a Lawn in S61

We recently completed an artificial grass installation at a property in the S61 area of Rotherham.

The customer was struggling with an uneven and patchy lawn, with certain areas of the garden receiving very little sunlight and natural grass struggling to grow properly. They also wanted to improve the levels across the garden to create a much neater and more usable outdoor space.

After discussing the options, we recommended levelling the garden using a sleeper retainer before installing artificial grass to provide a consistent, low-maintenance finish throughout the year.

The Project Overview

This project involved preparing and levelling the existing garden before installing a brand new artificial lawn across the rear garden.

The total area covered was 36.8m², with a sleeper retainer used to help achieve the required levels and create a much cleaner, more usable outdoor space.

For this installation, the customer selected Game Artificial Grass with a 32mm thatch, which provides a neat, freshly-cut appearance once installed.

The finished lawn completely transformed the appearance of the garden, replacing the uneven and patchy natural grass with a level, consistent surface.

Installation Process

As with all artificial grass projects, preparation was essential to ensure the finished lawn would perform properly over the long term.

Our team prepared and levelled the area, using a sleeper retainer to create the required levels before installing a suitable base and carefully fitting the artificial grass to create a seamless finish throughout the garden.

The installation was completed efficiently with minimal disruption, with care taken to keep both the garden and driveway clean and tidy throughout the work.
